High Momentum Stocks
This report is looking for stocks that are experiencing very high positive momentum in their stock price. The algorithm uses a combination of the Simple Moving Average (SMA) of 50, 150, and 200 days, 52-week high and 52-week low, and Relative Strength Index (RSI) to detect a long-term upward trend in the stock price. The rules of the algorithm are as follows:
- The current stock price is above its 150 and 200 day SMA.
- The stock's 150 day SMA is above the 200 day SMA.
- The stock's 200 day SMA is trending up.
- The stock's 50 day SMA is above its 150 and 200 SMA's.
- The current stock price is above its 50 day SMA.
- The current stock price is at least 30% above its 52-week low.
- The current stock price is at least within 25% of the 52-week high.
- The stock's RSI is greater than or equal to 75.
