High Momentum Stocks

This report is looking for stocks that are experiencing very high positive momentum in their stock price. The algorithm uses a combination of the Simple Moving Average (SMA) of 50, 150, and 200 days, 52-week high and 52-week low, and Relative Strength Index (RSI) to detect a long-term upward trend in the stock price. The rules of the algorithm are as follows:
  1. The current stock price is above its 150 and 200 day SMA.
  2. The stock's 150 day SMA is above the 200 day SMA.
  3. The stock's 200 day SMA is trending up.
  4. The stock's 50 day SMA is above its 150 and 200 SMA's.
  5. The current stock price is above its 50 day SMA.
  6. The current stock price is at least 30% above its 52-week low.
  7. The current stock price is at least within 25% of the 52-week high.
  8. The stock's RSI is greater than or equal to 75.
This report is best used during a bull market.
